No. As of October 2026, TikTok Shop isn't open to UAE-based sellers. There's no local TikTok Shop Seller Center for the UAE, and TikTok hasn't announced a date. Reports say a Saudi Arabia launch is planned for early 2027, but TikTok hasn't confirmed it. UAE businesses can still sell through TikTok today with content, ads and links to their own store or WhatsApp.

What is TikTok Shop?

TikTok Shop is TikTok's built-in shopping feature. Approved sellers list products inside TikTok, and customers buy without leaving the app, from:

• Shoppable videos with product links

• LIVE shopping, where creators sell during live streams

• A Shop tab and product pages inside TikTok

• Affiliate creators, who promote your products for a commission

TikTok handles checkout and payment; sellers ship the orders (or use TikTok's fulfilment in some markets).

Is TikTok Shop available in the UAE?

Not for local sellers, as of October 2026.

• A country list last verified on 13 August 2026 shows 24 markets with a local TikTok Shop Seller Center, and neither the UAE nor Saudi Arabia is among them.

• The same source notes that "coming soon" claims circulating online are unofficial.

• Some guides online say TikTok Shop has launched in the UAE or Saudi Arabia; we found no official confirmation, and the most recent checks of TikTok's seller region list don't include them.

What about shoppers? Some sources say shoppers in non-launched countries may see products from cross-border sellers based in supported markets, but UAE businesses can't register a local TikTok Shop.

Is TikTok Shop coming to Saudi Arabia or the UAE?

• Saudi Arabia: in August 2026, ecommerce media reported, citing industry sources via the Chinese outlet Ebrun, that TikTok Shop plans to launch in Saudi Arabia in Q1 2027, alongside South Korea and Australia. TikTok and ByteDance haven't confirmed this.

• UAE: we found no reported launch date for the UAE.

If TikTok Shop launches in Saudi Arabia, sellers there would need to meet local rules such as product conformity requirements and Saudi VAT (15%). UAE sellers who want to sell into Saudi Arabia should watch for whether TikTok allows cross-border GCC sellers.

How can UAE businesses sell on TikTok today?

You can't check out inside TikTok yet, but TikTok can still drive sales:

1. Post content that sells

Short videos showing the product in use, try-ons, unboxings, before-and-after, and delivery. Show the price in AED and how to order in the video or caption.

2. Use a link in your bio

With a TikTok business account, add a link to your online store or a WhatsApp chat link. Make it obvious: "Order on WhatsApp: link in bio".

3. Send viewers to WhatsApp or DMs

Many UAE customers prefer to ask questions before buying. Ask viewers to "comment or DM 'price'" or "message us on WhatsApp", then answer fast and turn the DM into an order.

4. Run TikTok ads

TikTok Ads Manager is available to UAE businesses. Common goals for small sellers:

• Website traffic or conversions to your online store

• Messaging to send people into a chat

• Lead generation forms

5. Work with UAE creators

Pay or gift UAE creators to feature your products. In the UAE, creators who promote products on social media, whether paid in cash or with free products, need an Advertiser Permit from the National Media Authority, so check that the creators you work with hold one.

6. Go LIVE

Live sessions still build trust and urgency even without in-app checkout. Share a WhatsApp link or a short product code for people to order.

7. Take payment in the chat
